Cancellation Terms

Cancellations for registrations made on or before the cancellation deadline (5th August 2024) will receive a refund, minus an administration fee of £40.00. Cancellations made after this date will be charged the total Conference fee and no refund will be provided.

Substitutions can be made at any time, however this may not be reflected in the Programme or Book of Abstracts if there is a change to a presenting author of an oral or poster presentation after 5th August 2024.

ICTMC 2024 Registration

Registration Fee

The registration fee for delegates is in GBP and includes: 

  • Attendance at all scientific sessions and entry to the exhibition hall (Tuesday 1st – Thursday 3rd October)
  • Morning and afternoon tea/coffee breaks and lunch (lunch is not included on the last day of the conference) 

Students, patients, members of the public and individuals based in low and middle income countries (LMICs) are eligible for a discounted rate. Students must be in active study, whether undergraduate or post-graduate, and must upload proof of enrolment wwhen registering.

Conference Party - One Night at the Museum!



Venue: National Museum of Scotland
Date: Wednesday 2nd October 2024
Time: 20:00 - midnight

All conference delegates are invited to attend the conference party at the stunning National Museum of Scotland, for which we have exclusive use. Situated in the heart of Edinburgh’s old town, the museum is an impressive venue for this year’s event. The party will take place within the Grand Gallery and the fine Victorian architecture is sure to provide a spectacular backdrop.


Upon arrival, guests will receive a welcome drink, along with tokens for two further drinks to enjoy throughout the evening. Grazing stations will be available for you to enjoy at your leisure and supper dishes will be served later in the evening.


The entertainment will come in the form of a ceilidh and live band, playing party tunes – so make sure you have your dancing shoes on!


Tickets are priced at £50.00 + 20% VAT per person

Dietary Requirements

The food at the conference party will include the following:

  • A selection of Scottish cheeses and cured meats
  • Campbell’s of Linlithgow haggis, crushed neeps and buttered tatties with sweet pickled onion and Glenkinchie Cream
  • Curried Finnan haddock pie with crushed Bombay potatoes and spring pea salsa
